Hi guys

I have big chunks of text on my home page and other landing pages. I need the text to rank obviously but I would like to hide / not show most of the text for mobile users (conditional loading based on media queries) to keep it clean.

According to my research cutting content should not be an issue for my mobile ranking as long as I keep the full content on desktop.

Can you guys confirm that or do you have different experiences?

Yes, @largesiteguy, there is no problem with conditional loading for mobile optimization. My website runs smoothly on mobile and desktop without giving me ranking issues.

If you're building an adaptive website then it is a normal practice, just keep the topics the SAME and trim content only as needed for the smaller screen sizes. Don't use mobile as an excuse to have almost no content though.
