Since i made a custom tiny url with my main keyword, the clicktrough rate is a lot higher ... It seems that people are more attracted to a keyword tiny url then an regular tiny url. Anyone has the same results?

Is it possible that the custom keyword url gives linkjuice to my site?

I just wrote a post about this a few days ago.
How did you track click through rate? I don't think that is possible with tinyurl

I don't care if it looks "hotter" ...
Why do you think bit.ly would be better then tiny url regarding conversions?

ps: by the way it's: hxxp://****************/keyword

You should also try tki.me. You can add your keyword to the shorturl and can even change the keyword afterwards and you will still be redirected to the correct page.

bitly is shorter and easier to read. Trust me, try it and compare the results. I have tried both and did much better with bitly. Test them both yourself though and see! your mileage may vary

shorter is better. a long drawn out link will have a horrible CTR
