Hey

I know nothing of programming, so please can anyone tell whats the difficulty level of creating a tool that will encode a wmv video adding DRM to it and making it open a website of my choice when someone tries to play it ?

Also would i need a license with m1cr0soft or something ?

Anyways, what i wanted is a custom private DRM encoder that i can be sure that noone would be stealing the traffic. The 2 DRM services i tried steals like 90% of my US traffic..

Any help/tips appreciated, thanks a lot

Difficulty, not much, you just need an SDK by Microsoft. The problem is that you need a, to my understanding, very expensive license from microsoft.

I can't seem to find the MS page right now, but Google it, it should be there.

See you.

I see, so its this license thing that stops people from getting their own DRM encoder i believe

Although I was checking some fake torrents and i found a DRM'ed fake wmv that opens a unknown licensed website, which the domain isnt even on google. So someone must have a private one, just dont know if he bought the license or what...

In a quick look I couldnt find the price of this license aswell, i only found stuff on the users end, nothing on how to license a website, will keep searching

Thanks a lot for info, see ya
