Custom Audience ads Vs. FriendBomber/FaceDominator

I have a new responsibility in my company (our niche is designer radiator, towel dryer and fan coil) which is the company's social networks. I've done my homework with Instagram (it took about 2 weeks) and we're all set there. Our next focus is Facebook. Facebook seems to be more complex and detailed. So I'm taking the time to understand how things work before taking any action.

I have 2 questions (it'd be appreciated if I could get as many elaborate responses as possible):

1. I'm not sure whether I should go the Custom Audience ads or FriendBomber/FaceDominator route.
2. Can you provide an estimate on the budget needed to achieve 1000 real and engaging Facebook page followers/likes using Custom Audience ads with a proper scraper.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, I highly recommend FaceDom or even FB blaster pro if you are looking to save a few... You can build a custom audience that'll way then utilize Boost post option.

You're not running a home business, so consider not just the budget, but the company's reputation:

If it's an SMB company, you might consider the bots.

If it's a large company, only go with ads, as you need to keep the good reputation of the company. Large companies don't spam or use black-hat techniques (well, at least not in a way that other people can see them do it).

Scrapping Custom Audiences is against FB TOS but a lot of people do it and get away with it. It's completely up to you. I personally don't use CA.

What do you want to achieve with it ?

I`m asking because even if its just branding you want to do, its going to be pretty hard to achieve it with FB Display ads because you can not target that kind of interest.

In theory, everyone has towels to dry so everyone could be interested in buying a dryer so how to make them to take action and get ROI not just put a question mark and grow the market for these kind of products.
(take it a a joke and I hope you get what I~m talking about)

I would suggest other channels if you have money to invest in advertising.
