Currently Being Scammed Via Escrow for 2700$

$2700 is a lot of money to pay at once not through a known payment site like PayPal or payoneer .. what were you thinking! I think we do need to post the scammers here

I didn't pay it, lost $70, but more importantly lost my account worth 2700$

again, more than anything right now I just want to make this scammers life difficult so if anyone wants to help me get his website taken down and maybe even find out where he lives or something so I can threaten him with legal action then that would be appreciated
 
Escrow(dot)social is a scam site that was registered a few weeks ago.

There was another person here who was scammed by them.

You have any idea who that person is?? I'm in the process of pulling the scammers IP, didn't know if they were ahead of me or just gave up
 
Well, it's very obviously a fake site, no?

It's a rip-off of escrow.com or am I missing something here? I 100% think the scammer is the owner of the site though.

EDIT: Checked the site, and yeah, 100% this is fake. There's no script for the actual email submit, no legit company would ever miss something that big.

Yeah no, you're right. Having never used escrow(dot)com before I didn't suspect anything

Damn $2,700 is a blow... I'm going to leave you and everyone who reads this a solid piece of advice. Don't ever use companies online especially middlemen where you cannot reach by phone or they don't have a phone number listed. I reviewed the Escrow [ dot ] com website and they have a 4 step process however with no phone number listed they could very well be the seller and the middleman.

Anyways there is one positive I got from your post, I'll be creating a blog review post about Escrow and rank that bitch. Let me know if you get your money back. If not I'll write an in depth review about this real life possible scam situation.

Hope you do get that money back or the social account you are trying to by. I wish I had a $2,700 product to sell.

hey yeah and with that. I am more confident in escrow(dot)com because they appear to be a real thing. Escrow(dot)social is the website where I was an idiot and got scammed

Half their links don't work, including the link to their terms and conditions. Grammar mistakes all over the place.

Stop blaming guys, that wont help in any ways...
Your best shots would be
  • Trying to take the money/account back
  • Taking revenge and exposing the shit out of them
  • Discover who they are and attack them or rent someone to do (physically)
I wouldnt even recommwnd the last 2, but they deserve it
 
Simple Whois lookup says-
Domain was registerd on 12/5/2020.
Not even one month old.
 
You can write mail to the hosting company and within three working days their site would be down, they might request for proof from you.
