Hi guys, with all the google panda and penguin updates I wanted to ask which techniques are still effective?

Like:

Directories
Article Directories
Profile Backlinks

etc...

Thanks!

social is the most important for me right now. If you get pages up on facebook, linked in and few more of those with "REAL ACTIVE FOLLOWERS" the ranks seem to go up for me. But those pages have to be updated with new stuff regularly for followers to interact.

Other than that i think edu is still powerful, wheels are okey i guess. High authority websites are not bad as well as press releases.

All of the old link types are effective. The focus is just on diversity and link velocity. Other than that you need 100% unique content.

Automated link building is dead or dying!
Cheap blog networks are dead! No use trying them, any large blog network is found fast. Private blog networks are expensive and if you do not pay like 30$+ for a post then it is not worth the money, blog posts in quality sites will get more expensive, the point here is how slow the site adds new posts. So I would pay like more for sites that accept only one blog post per month or two. That will ensure better link juice and that google will find it hard to find such sites.
Stuff like magic submitter and senuke well most of the people that say they still work have affiliate links to such tools you figure out what is true and what is not. Besides spun content is just not cutting it anymore.

i would not explain in detail.just one word do natural backlinking.rest you have to understand and figure it yourself
