Out of curiosity:
For the type of attack that we have been under here what is the cost per day of sending those bots approximately?

To start, I'd like to say whoever is behind these pathetic DDOS attacks need to get a clue and understand that they're costing a lot of BST providers money. They're also pissing off a lot of VERY knowledgeable people with a heavy I.T. background. Not a wise move, whatsoever. I know you guys will have this resolved quickly.
I am waiting for that so that I can donate and join Jr. VIP. To the blue's that I have already spoken to back and fourth over the last year, here I come. Lol
Im surprised its going on for this long.
couldn't someone just set up a few computers to all run on diff proxies or virtual servers or w/e they do
and just let them run 24/7 DOS till the end of time if they really wanted?
You need thousands of simultaneous connections running at the same time. Who's gonna pay for all of those computers lol. that's why botnets are used instead.
Oh, thanks.
I must have misread the info on when Anonymous took down paypal a few years back.
I always thought it only took a few computers to do a DOS because each one can spam the fuck out of the server
using muti-threading or w/e.
In the end, I really do not see the point of people doing this sort of stuff to total strangers.
They cant possibly be profiting from it and most likely is costing them money.
It just does not make any sense to me that some people will do what ever they can to screw over others
if someone just happens to have something better than they do.
Like everyone is saying, instead of wasting huge chunks of time and money trying to ruin someone elses profiting business,
divert that time and energy into making your own business profitable.
jealousy is the root of all evil though.
