Curious How These Guys Make Money from these YT Comments?

My videos are bombed with these kind of comments on youtube... When i go to their channels there's nothing even in there. How are these guys making money pretty sure they are using some kind of bots.

Yet!

They will bot 1k-10k subs, a lot of top comments, and then change their name to something spammy.

They dont have spammy names now, because they would not get upvote, and would get deleted/banned by creators.

That is a great question and I am also interested in an answer.
I think it depends on which channels/niches they are commented on. I found some on some videos with a kid audience which doesn't make much sense.

Yeah every now and then I too receive such comments on my videos.

I regularly monitor the comments and I instantly delete the ones that look spammy or crap. However since many of such comments do not contain a link too so I leave them as is as it increases the comments number on my videos. I only delete those comments which have spammy links in them.
