Hi all
sounds weird.
i am harvesting sites using KW files plus merging footprint file. I have only 4 instances on my VPS. I am using Custom footprint (same footprint file for each harvest) AND custom harvest (use same 3 search engines Google, Yahoo and Bing)
Each time before I start the harvest I check status my Proxies on each instance (I have split up my proxies between instances) No issues for status Anonymous and Google. I just swapped over my proxies to diff instances and start harvesting. STILL NO GOOGLE???? Why?
run 25 threads each instance. (is this too many threads)??? I just dropped my threads to 3. Still no Google action????
Ok now the story: I do first round of harvest and all 3 Search Engines go gang busters. BUT the next time I do harvest use same Instance 01 Google not harvest any results ONLY Yahoo and Bing. Please why this happening??? I went back and made certain latest version of ALL search engines installed.
Did another harvest Instance 03 But this time on second run with same instance NOW only Yahoo harvesting. Both Google and Bing not.
Can anyone Please explain to me why this happens on only some of my instances. My last go round I shut down all 4 instances, restarted each. updated addons and each Version correctly and still happened. remember i am test proxies each time BOTH anonymous AND Google says all passed ok
