Hey all,

So I came across this thread the other day which is an issue that has come up again and again.

https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/is-sarkar21-using-bots-to-review-his-own-service.1086022/page-3#post-11712159

You will note I've linked to a message where @BassTrackerBoats closed this thread and this is by no means targetting him or complaining that the thread was shut before I continue.

However, I have to point out that BTB seems to advertise @sarkark21 service in his signature.

Is it "right" that a mod who seems to have a business relationship or friendship with this seller is closing discussions about them?

I think looking into @sarkark21 is a valid thing to discuss, his threads are highly suspicious. He has been caught modifying ranking charts, 100's of new accounts post ranking charts that are all distorted and obscurred in the exact same way. It looks like he's editing these and either posting them himself or asking users to post them.

It all feels suspitious. It looks like more effort was put into closing the discussion and silencing buyers than looking at the complaints and the fact a mod who advertises the seller closed the discussion just makes me want to post suspitious hippo memes.

I'm sure BTB didn't take this action based on his relationship with Sarkark21, I'm not saying that. But is it fair that sellers are working with mods like this? It's just leaving the door wide open for abuse isn't it?

There should be more distance between mods and sellers right? This is just really weird, kind of like the mafia paying off the police.

Not sure which woodwork or Slack group you crawled out from.
Interesting that you posted for the first time in almost 6 years back in November and then it was to advise someone to carry out negative seo.

So you're suggesting staff shouldn't rent out their signatures nor buy services from any sellers on here?

What I will say to you or anyone who wants to make accusations about sellers, provide proof. It's that simple

Answered and closed.

You are correct this does come up again and again - usually, from competing sellers - we've reviewed this particular service on multiple occasions so I'm happy to comment on it. The seller in question @sarkark21 has freely given us view access onto both of his finance and CRM accounts that run this service so we can verify transactions. No issues arose during those reviews all listed transactions can be traced back to sales through his CRM and payment providers to this date.

This question has been asked and answered on multiple occasions but in short (and of course I'm biased here) advertising on BHW works. It draws massive attention to your service and on occasion, people can jump to conclusions that are incorrect due to it's success. We've spent a lot of time recently working on stamping out fraud in the marketplace and looking deeply into those most popular services in preparation for our new forum.

@BassTrackerBoats has closed the thread and as stated
Closed - if you have proof of someone violating the rules as a seller, hit the report button in their thread and it will be addressed by the staff member(s) that handle that......

We take fraud very seriously here and there is a ton of time and energy dedicated to finding it and eliminating it and not just by staff members but speculation doesn't fly... what does fly is proof.

To elaborate his point any staff member that is involved with a seller at that time can't action reports or ShitLists against that seller. Otherwise, they risk losing their position.

So as far as your "Mafia - Police" analogy we happy to say we're a small enough family to keep it clean. But then you'd know that already....
