I saw a report on TV that there was going to be an announcement today about a serum that can be used to cure coronavirus but can't find anything about it now?

Here are potential cures for coronavirus.

Antivirals and immunomodulators
  • No proven efficacy in humans as of March 14, 2020.
    • Chinese Guidelines for COVID-19 suggest using chloroquine, traditional Chinese medicines, and for anti-IL6R drug tocilizumab as an anti-inflammatory in patients with extensive lung disease/severe illness and elevated IL-6 levels.
  • A large number of antivirals and immunomodulators are being investigated.
    • Caution is advised as to whether any are effective or safe for COVID-19.
    • Types of drugs under investigation include antivirals (protease inhibitors, influenza drugs, nucleoside analogs) anti-inflammatories, surface protein antagonists such as lecithins.
    • Much like with influenza, antiviral drugs are likely to be most effective as a preventative or with administration early after the onset of symptoms.
  • Drugs currently under investigation[16]:
    • Remdesivir (Gilead; used to treat Ebola)
      • Currently under study in a trial in Wuhan; activity is seen in vitro with SARS-2-CoV, MERS-CoV (also including MERS-CoV primate studies).
      • Likely the most promising drug.
    • Chloroquine (or hydroxychloroquine) has been reported to have some efficacy in vivo and in COVID-19 pneumonia, the mechanism may be by interfering with cellular acidification in the phagolysosome.[8],[9]
    • ASC09/ritonavir, lopinavir/ritonavir, with or without umifenovir
    • ASC09/oseltamivir, ritonavir/oseltamivir, oseltamivir
    • Azvudine
    • Baloxavir marboxil/favipiravir and lopinavir/ritonavir in combination(s)
    • Camostat mesylate
    • Darunavir/cobicistat alone or with lopinavir/ritonavir and thymosin α1 in combination(s)
    • Interferon alfa-2b alone or in combination with lopinavir/ritonavir and ribavirin
    • Methylprednisolone
    • Camrelizumab and thymosin
    • Tocilizumab

There are currently running ~300 clinical studies on some medications.

That's good news, and also a bad one. Why?

Because some of the medications that should not be tested, are and it's taking away the patient pool that can be enrolled in these studies.

Good? Because we are testing more than one option.

Medications with most promises: Rendesevir, Kaltera, Chloroquine are leading the way.

Britain at least telling people to pretty much 'deal with it', kids going to school, the hustle and bustle in town centres it's usual self. That shit in Italy is about something else, maybe they don't want to expose an incredibly embarrassing healthcare system or something

The ones that does sell the panic, does also sell the pills.
be carefull with what you want them to put into your body...

A doctor in Jaipur India treating two Italian natives using anti flu and anti malaria drugs so may be:
Chloroquine phosphate + Antiflu , anti cold n cough tab+ some anti alergic may work

But calling helpline or doctor is best. At least 45% chance of life saving

Lol come one guys , dont be such boomers . Young ladies fall for these stuff . Generation gap is strong on this one :p

ok zoomer, what are you going to do when the souvlaki bars shut?

I know something that might help, it's been used for thousands of years to kill all type of fungi, bacteria and viruses and has been shown in studies to do so but has been replaced by pharmaceutical drugs most likely because there is no profit for it, also most viruses and bacteria develop resistance to pharmaceutical drugs, what I'm talking about is Silver or Colloidal Silver. Most people that take it don't turn blue from it either as claimed. Also that it is ineffective against viruses and bacteria I think is FDA pharmaceutical propaganda pushing their drugs over natural remedies.

Its not about the healthcare system. There is a big problem: Too many infected people in a too short time. The needed equipment to treat the patients correctly is limited...and this shit can literally happen to every country or city. Imagine they suddenly find out there are 10k infected people in this one city and they have equipment and staff for 2000 patients. Don't forget there are also other patients with other problems (cancer etc.), who need treatment.

What happened to northern of Italy also happened to Wuhan before, but the chinese could handle the situation better, because they have much more money and manpower than Italy. The chinese could literally build whole new hospitals in a week. They would just fly a few thousand workers into Wuhan, let them work 24/7. In China they were talking about a "people's war on the virus" just to let you know the mentality...

Well guess what , they are already shut , everything is shut , today is day 4 . Guess I'll be having funny chats on BHW lounge

Not true at all lol the real truth is bumbling boris hasn’t a fucking clue what he’s doing.. he basically wants a herd infection, survival of the fittest from what I can see.

I am in spain right now.. we are on total lock down too - you can’t leave your home unless to go for groceries or medical, it’s not just Italy! My home country Ireland has also closed all schools and so on, many other countries are doing the same.

The problem lays with the UK government being incompetent, not that Italy has a worse health system.. let me put it this way - good fucking luck to the already over run NHS if this shit really hits the fan.

This is coming from someone that strongly tried to calm people down when this first came to light, now though after what we’ve went through in spain over the weekend I know this shit is serious and there’s more to it than is being said.
