Will curation for blogging work? I will curate the best of something. Do you think this strategy for blogging will work?

If you're adding value in some form, sure.
All viral websites a few years back did it just by curating content. But things don't work the same way now. If you simply copy paste, it won't work.

Yes, it can work but only if you add your own insights or value. Just copying/collecting content won’t rank anymore.

Content curation can definitely work for blogging, but only when you bring something extra to the table. If you just copy or list content from other sites, it will not perform well. What really matters is adding your own touch like insights, summaries, comparisons, or personal opinions. When done properly, such as creating “best tools” lists or curated weekly resources with useful commentary, it can attract traffic and gradually build your authority.

If you just collect or rewrite content, it won’t perform well. But if you filter the best, organize it clearly, it can attract traffic and rank in SEO.

It can work but only if your curation actually adds value if you’re just rehashing others content it won’t rank or last.

I think a content selection strategy is an extremely smart and effective approach. Instead of just copying, act as an expert, synthesizing the most valuable knowledge, then adding your own personal opinions and perspectives. This makes your blog a reputable resource, saves readers time and greatly supports SEO through top list or summary articles. The important thing is to clearly cite sources to maintain credibility and avoid copyright issues.

Curation can work if you actually add your own take. Don’t just copy—pull a few solid pieces, add fresh insights, and link back. Build topical clusters around your main themes and keep the reader in your funnel with smart internal links. If you’re just starting, focus on one niche and publish a few well-thought pieces a week.

Curation works only if you add real value insights, comparisons, updates just compiling others’ content won’t rank or make money.

Yes, curation can be effective, but only if it is focused and insightful rather than blindly reposting.
