I just found a competitor which parked a blog onto a subdomain and didnt updated the permalinks in wordpress. So now all the content has, since 6 months, wrong links, wrong set images, even menu and home-url still links to old, not accessible domain any longer.
As the competitor probably will not going to work on that domain and focus on other areas I thought about curating their content over to my blog within the same niche. Of course removing all their issues.
Of course Google will notice that, but will Google penalitize me or favor my content above the ones from my competitor if I mirror the content 1:1 and embed it into my structure, including publishing date and time etc.?
