So what's the current views on CTRTheme? Is it working for people?

I'm thinking of buying it, but want some independent reviews from BHW.

It works on some of my niches. Only thing I dont like about it is on some of my niches, the CTR goes UP but CPC (and daily average $) goes DOWN because they stuff ads, and people click on the lower links. Also, support is straight shit, my DL link is expired and I contacted him via email a week ago, and support desk a couple of days ago to reset the link and still no response.

I've been wondering the same, too. I'm almost just ready to pay the extra money to have a custom adsense-friendly wp theme made for me.

If you had a choice between ctrtheme and clickbump (or indeed any other paid-for adsense-ready template), what would you choose?

Bear in mind that I want to spend my time on content creation, not messing around with ad placement/colors.

I have experienced the EXACT same thing...some of my niches get up to 25% CTR but then others get as low as 6% with VERY bad CPC...but im "split testing" with different themes, and im starting to see some changes...

Also on one of my sites ive recently taken some ads down, and im currently testing the effects of only running SOME of the ad blocks...been able to up the CTR from 7% to 11% so far by doing this...but the CPC has only slightly increased...may simply be a shitty keyword??

But to answer the OP's question...all in all CTR theme is well worth the small investment...IMO

CTR Theme doesn't work for me. Lots of people said that this theme is good, it can double or triple your ctr therefore boost your earning. But it's not happening on my blogs, my ctr drops super significantly.. Guess what.. I have organic 1.5k visitors per day but it only makes me 0.60$?? And higher was only 1.20$.. wow this is the lowest earning in my life! Even that old Prosense theme can make a lot better than this! :D

Also, I told a friend to visit my blog.. He --who is a common internet user, not that kind of IM, blackhat dude, etc-- said.. wow why did ya change the theme? This looks ugly! Then I said.. no way dude, this is called CTR theme, a cool theme that will boost my earning from those adsense ads, he then said.. Nah, people will be sick viewing this blog.

I get clicks and make good money with the CTR theme. I would recommend it to others.

It does work, but I have seen complaints where people who have used the theme have had their accounts disabled.

But to be honest, it may have not been the theme, they could have done something else to upset the Adsense team.

Currently email support seems non existent. Eppie Vojt :)asshole:) posted in the Warrior Forum a few days ago but requests for refunds (at least mine) go unanswered. In fact, everything has gone unanswered. Buggy theme, no documentation, no forum, no wiki, ZERO support.

If you buy it I'm guessing you will need support and may even want your money back but the guarantee is NOT being honored, at least in my case. As you can tell I'm a little pissed off about this. Having issues with responding late is one thing but totally blowing off all Support and still posting in the Warrior Forum every few days trying to suck in more buyers is just scamming people.

Here's some friendly advice, read the latest comments on the Warrior Forum WSO before committing. You'll be glad you did.

I filed a support request after the 1.4.1 release asking for the changelog to be updated; heard nothing.

Still, in Eppie's defense, some of the people posting on that WF page you mention are, well, not terribly endowed upstairs.

If you have a refund request that hasn't bee processed, send me an email (first name at last name dot com) and I'll make sure it gets pushed through for you.

To everyone else in the thread:
Admittedly, there have been some issues handling all of the support requests in a timely fashion. If that's a deal-breaker for you, I get it. I'm trying to improve support and looking to add on additional full-time staff to help with this stuff.

The fact of the matter is, I'm just a guy who built a theme and started selling it to other people because there was demand for it. I never expected to sell as many copies as I have or to have demand continue for so long, so I didn't scale up staffing for it... trying to do it all on my own until it settled into a steady (and less-intensive) rate of sales. That never happened.

That's no consolation to you if you've needed support, but I just want people to realize my situation. I'm a good guy and I'm trying my best to support the product and add new features to it. Thousands of people love it and use it happily. A vocal few have support issues and are unhappy with me -- I understand their frustration and want to fix it (or refund their money).

Come on now, Blais. We've chatted on the phone a bunch of times now and you've always given me the impression that we were cool. I've implemented a few fixes just for you AND I've fast-tracked some feature requests you've had.

Can I get everything done as fast as you'd like? I guess not. But you haven't had any access issues with me, and the only thing you're waiting on right now isn't even a bug fix, but an entirely new feature.

If you're really unhappy, I'm willing to refund. Give me a call or email me directly.

Thanks for the replies. Its better business to be honest and I think with a staff/new versions of CTR theme evolving, you could probably sell it for more than you are now. The theme has a huge amount of future potential than it already does now.

I test a theme for couple of my blogs. For micro blogs it` s okay. But for big blogs with many readers, i like heatmap theme pro or builder theme from ithemes.
