I just realised my CTR is way too high I'm talking extremely high and I'm going to get banned if I don't get more impressions, what can I do? Is this the banner they have to view in order to get more impressions? or should I just get people to visit my site where the banner is?

What do you all do to get CTR down?

You always seem to amaze me mate! :) + rep for you

I know this sounds newbie but I buy the traffic -> the page where the banner is = impressions = guaranteed money *fingers crossed* = :)

Haha I'm getting it down with a prog I've got that goes through a proxy list and hits the site, it's working but the proxies are in order so I hope they don't realise what's going on... haha probs will spend money on the traffic though

the one where you're using proxies to increase impressions.

    it just doesn't look natural.

esp if you're using proxies that are sequential.

Hi, if possible use the text links for a program and not the banner as companies usually do not have tracking enabled on text links but do for banners. Then show your banners wherever possible.

For example, I have a website which I launder everything through when I do my redirection setc

On this website I have three banners which automatically rotate through various offers by displaying banners. If an affiliate mananager looks at my traffic they see my laundering website complete with random banners.

For example my process is as follows:

If I am doing a redirection to a merchant I send the person through my laundering website, on the laundering website I show the banner for the merchant I am redirecting to and then and only then do I redirect.

This way, the person sees a banner (Banner count goes up), I redirect using text links (impressions are not counted) and the merchant sees a WH site as a referrer.

Also, a big one, filter your redirects / clicks. Do not send everything through just people that may buy (Think GEOTargeting, where did they come from, what do they want etc).

Merchants do care about their EPC and will notice if you are sending through tons of non-coverting traffic and in my opinion, that is the biggest red flag of all for further investigation ;)
