Is manipulating CTR by instructing users to search for your site and clicking the result for your domain worth it?

Only if you have a strong base of users outside of your website. Because there is no point for someone that has come on your website organically to be pointed on google again and asked to research for your website

yes, im using another site with traffic to direct them to search for another related domain in google. will this do anything?

Income school had a video telling people how they ranked a lot faster than expected using this method, only that they pushed people that were watching their videos to use a particular searchphrase and look on the list for their website. For this to work, your website will have to be on the first page already. So that people don't get bored searching for your website or they don't find something more interesting to click on

nice ;)

im having them search for my brand name so im first for that even though its rather new site.

so it should increase the score of my domain with google doing this?

can it also be used as a means to justify a higher link growth for new site?

real CTR manipulation (i.e. done by real users & friends) = does work in helping to improve your ranking

CTR manipulation done through bots = will hurt your ranking. so stay away from it.

also if you have those users to complete a CTA form, you will get more benefit. that is my experience.

Your website has to be on the first page and you have to hide your footprints with good proxy servers. However this is a blackhat method. I wouldn't use it for my money site.

The short answer is yes
Results can vary depending on the provider
The same goes for GMB signals

Has anyone got any actual case studies on this? Would be intrigued.
