CTR Manipulation - Live Case Study - 50 days old site without backlinks

I like live case studies like these, it gives one good knowledge of how the system really works.

Hey, it is 39th day of CTR. I want to show the improvements in tabulated form, so you get a clearer idea whats going on with the site. Here are the keywords which I checked through SERP checking services, and their rankings. Some keywords rank in all countries, some keywords rank in several countries, but I am sure it will show up in all soon as well.

KeywordDomain PageKeyword VolumePosition Fluctuation
Keyword 1Homepage600 (Global)From nowhere to 42 (currently)
Keyword 2Homepage300 (Global)From 30+ to 12 (currently)
Keyword 3Homepage N/A - BRAND consisting of keywordsFrom 11 to 4
Keyword 4Inner Page360 (Global)From Nowhere to 73
Keyword 5Inner Page900 (Global)From nowehere to 75
Keyword 6Homepage5400 (Global)From Nowhere to 80, and to 63 currently, (shown in some countries)
Keyword 7Homepage1300 (Global)From nowhere to 69 (shown in some countries)

+ some keywords where Semrush doesnt show keyword volume, but GSC shows impressions.

Need I continue the xperiment (currently sending 10 clicks/day)? , please comment.

Do you have your ppl click on the first few competition results and bounce right back, going down the list until they arrive at your site, to simulate regular human activity or do you make them go straight for your site? Cause if you have like 5 daily clicks on 3rd page results every day, it would look completely unnatural.
+1

And also are they same people search for ur keywords every day / change every week / every month ? Or completely different, from where u get those people to search for ur terms ..

I rotate them, same person may do the same task after 4-5 days if you send 20 clicks/day for example. Most IP's would be changed during that time. Also if they would enter with a different keyword than before then it doesn't even matter (they could potentially enter after 24 hrs), Google considers its a unique visit, cause its from different keyword.

There is also a returning visitor benefit here, as Google gives additional bonus for the return visits , so this thing is actually an advantage here.

Microworkers com doesn't have this functionality (user can't complete same task after some time again) and it sucks to be honest. This decreases the available pool of workers by a big margin also deprives you of a benefit of returning visitors.

Also I ve seen somewhere that google flags the visits from microworker com , as too many people use that platform for CTR purposes and it's already patched. I used it , and you may get an initial boost but then results would quickly fade away. So I cannot disclose my website here to avoid it getting patched like microworker com.

For this site the results are in top 10. I am targeting only brand queries and it gives a good boost to overall seo health , but you are right on that stuff. certainly need to use brand + keyword instead , 8f the page is on 3rd page of results

41 th Day of CTR, +1 New keyword in GSC

Here is an update from the last 28 days of a completive keyword. Filtered for global traffic and just US impressions/traffic. Both are the same keyword.

The last keyword is a national keyword. This is a keyword that is specific to a local city in the US. Again, 28 days of data. Comparing US and global traffic.

45th day of CTR
Impression graph of one of the main keywords which has seen an improvement.

As you see keyword was not showing even every day prior to ctr manipulation. But impressions increased dramatically after we performed ctr for some time.

I assume this graph alone demonstrates how simply targeted organic traffic even for brand queries may affect the algorithms of Google ranking.

So I think I end this case study as I see it ended successful, should I end it here ? Or should I continue?
I want to build backlinks now to see how the site would rank after creating links.

223 clicks total were sent during 45 days.

4 other keywords and their impression increase:

CTR manipulation with branded queries started on around 20th of March

Do you change your target clicked keywords after some time?
Herr I used 3 variations of the brand. Version with .com , plain brand (without com) and the one without - sign (I have 2 - signs in domain separating 3 words)

Are you adding more content as your keywords increase or has all content been the same since the start?

That's awesome. I'm doing CTR manipulation for GMBs... definitely slow and steady

I think I will continue doing this experiment for at least 1 month. Despite already seeing the result, I want it to be fully examined. The traffic factor for seo , once and for all examined on this forum. 3 month I think would be perfect

my data on CTR

if you are on first page competing for a 400 a month keyword, it only takes 3 to6 unique CTRs to get upto 1 within..5 days.

It will stay up there for 2 weeks the drop u back down

Same keyword, one is global data and other is US only data. Same keyword as last week..1000018784.png

Great study! Have a couple of questions, though:

1. Are these microworkers logged in Google when they perform the search and clicks?
2. When you say "I used only branded and URL keywords to homepage", what do you mean by "URL keywords to homepage"?

Thanks

I can speak to what I've seen.

If you have the same worker search the same keyword. Overtime that site will be pushed to the top for that individual.

As for a low volume keyword with competition. I'm sending one daily. Some are logged in and some are logged out. I'm bouncing around at rank 12-6.
