Hello everyone,

So I've launched a campaign for a client a little more than a week ago and everything was working fine, see for yourselves :

5eiwSHt

Here are the stats for the whole week :

MfHY0s9

Please note that the conversions have been at least 1 per day, the tracking just wasn't working correctly.

Okay so now onto my problem, here are the stats of yesterday and current for today :

H8VXE7f

ZEhKXPi

Now this is very weird to me, how can the impressions get such a big boost compared to the whole last week and the clicks be so low ?

I've checked the "Auction insights" to see if the ads' positions were the source of the problem and they are not : they still have a top of the page rate of +75% and an absolute top of the page rate of +60%, which are more or less the same numbers as the last week ones. (and they also excel on my competitors' numbers, just to make this clear)

So here's the problem : my ads' positions are the same as last week when they were getting +20% CTR but suddenly this same CTR goes all the way down to -10%.

What do you guys think ? Is it possible that a competitor is artificially increasing the number of impressions to decrease the CTR ?
What should I do ? Wait a few more days to see if it gets better, because maybe it's related to the fact that we're on the week-end ? It's true that last week-end's numbers were also a little down compared to the week, but the difference was not this big : the impressions were more than 3 times greater this time.

Thanks for reading and for your future answers.

I dont think so you just dont have enought impressions atm to say anything.
Half of them could be serp rank checkers.

MY Website data : https://prnt.sc/pfia4x
Oh well, your numbers are indeed way higher than mine.
So you would not worry, and wait for the week to come to see what happens then ?

These are 3 months stats.
I dont think anything major will happen to it in a week.

Yes I know, I just meant to wait and see if my CTR goes back to the "normal" like it's been last week.

A lot will depend on the time of the day, day of the week and many other things.
It could a competitor or it could be a result of a certain period of time or a certain day.
20% CTR is pretty high result, in many cases 5% is average.

This thread didn't really require a bump you were given the answer in the first reply. In all likelihood this isn't a competitor messing with you, this is just way too small of a sample for the numbers to mean much.

A handful of clicks (or impressions or conversions) is not going to tell you anything. It's not statistically significant thus making comparisons as you are doing meaningless, certainly not a whole week to one day.

There is no point for competitorsnto mess with your ctr. Seems like u r in a small niche which means when even one competitor comes then your stats will be affected. You wont get accurate info from so small amount of stats. Different weekdays can even have impact on impressions. You need to have at least 10000 imps to start analyzing what and how to optimize. At the moment there are too many variables on so small impressions.

Not enough data, sometimes the CTR get lower on a certain hours or days of the week.
