Has anyone experimented with adding some subtle animations to CTA buttons to increase CTR?

Or do you use them regularly, which ones? I have been using different types of fade ins now and my CTR with not so great content is 55-60%.

Animation will convert more but it depends how subtle it is,
And always a/b test.
I love adding like a "Shine flash" but it's all about personal taste imo

I've seen a lot of tiny "shake" effects on buttons on some fairly prominent copywriter works. Grabs attention away from whatever you do to the button but just once.

I'd not worry too much about button animation - that's finetuning and in the realm of diminishing returns and IMHO won't be the deal breaker or a major break point... if any at all
also depends on the whole design/layout/how many attention grabing elements you have there.

I personally don't use them.

Yeah but I think it would be great in my case as my offer is CPC, I first show them different products, pros and cons and then the CPC button, and the animation needs to be subtle, just enough to grab attention.
