CSE monetisation enabled but no sponsored results

My Google Programmable Search Engine shows “monetised and associated with AdSense,” yet sponsored ads do not appear in results. I am looking for a policy-compliant fix from someone with verifiable results, or first-hand experiences from buyers who actually saw ads show afterwards.

Any thoughts from experienced members would be greatly appreciated.
