I want to start investing in smaller alt coins as well ...

out of those two which ones would you recommend. ? what do you like and what do you hate?
or would you recommend another .

I always stayed good on Cryptopia and when I needed to cash out, it was perfectly fuctional when major exchanges webservers was crashing like ninepins

I personally recommend Binance. out of these two go with cryptopia...

Very comfortable. Doesn't bother me at all. I had it uploaded in a few minutes. Don't forget that last one though. Picture of you, your passport clearly visible, and a sticky note that says Binance, with the current date. I missed the stick note part, and uploaded, but they didn't verify me. I had to reupload once I realized this about 7 days later.

I am using Binance but there are less smaller coins there.

I am new to cryptocurrencies too. Can there be any legal problems regarding your trades on these websites? Is it OK to use your own name and primary email while registering on these services?

I only use binance and bittrex. I don't trust those exchanges liike cryptopia and coinexchange. I always have this feeling that they can run away with your $ at any time and sometimes the withdrawls get super delayed.
