Could law enforcement track down bitcoin if its a lot even if someone used cryptomixer.is? I only ask because someone told me on this forum that if the lubian bitcoin hack had used this service they wouldnt have been traced...
Bitcoin is not anonymous, it’s pseudonymous. Every transaction is recorded permanently. Mixers are by no means perfect, if the mixer keep logs and it gets busted that's one way to go down. Mixers add difficulty but they are not fool proof.
No matter how these mixers pretend to be safe. But once the law enforcement knocks door then they probably give up all their logs and along with the related txn that day that time. So pretty sure with enough time on hand Law enforcement can trace the transactions.
