I would suggest going with a buy and hold, more of a long term strategy if you're just starting with the cryptos. Day trading is a difficult game that will likely end in you losing money.
Bitcoin is on one of its crazy bull runs, I'd start there.

If you are looking to invest, research the shit out of 2-5 coins and figure out which ones are positive expected value investments in the next 2-3 months.

While etherium is a very useful crypto, It hasn’t seen the same growth many other coins have in similar time periods. It’s better as a long play than a short term one IMO

Something to keep on the radar- Bitclave. Their ICO sold out very fast, but it hasn't gone public yet. Just something to keep an eye on as it's timeline becomes more public.
