Should I trade with ETH since it has a small number of value or should I just gun it and take BTC? I have about 50USD on btc might liquid it to ETH just to get used to trading first? Thoughts?

50 USD is not big amount. You can take any of these, it will give about 10% profit in about an year.

im looking to trade daily. im not sure how liquidation works because the site can just delete your account when u get too many losses

Which site? All the websites like when you lose, they don't like when you win :)

Liquidations only happen in leveraged trades too. Spot trades don't have liquidations and they never close your acct. Most you can lose on a spot trade is 100%, so they don't care.

On leveraged trades you can lose as much as you've leveraged, that's why they shut down leverage accts.

I see no point in closing an account. If you always lose, you are a perfect client.
Recently I made a negative balance in binance of almost 10k and they have not closed my account, all I see now is a negative number in profit/loss, and of course, my balance is -$10k.
I don't know any site that closes an account because you lose.

When your trade goes against your trend your chances of liquidation is higher if coin moves 7-10% in short time.. and yo take leverage of 10x.

Best way to avoid liquidation is to keep leverage low and exit the trade in smallest stop loss if its goes against your trade.

50$ is beer money. Accumulate more qnd invest in cardano instead.

What if everyone does the same? Do they stay in business?

Well if all their customers were down 10k, how would they many money?

I entered with $10k and leverage 30x (that was $300k with leverage and in case the market was up by 1% it was a win of $3k - in this case is a loss of the website) but the market went against me by more than 3% and I lost the money I have entered $10k. The minus -$10k is my loss but the win is the website although they gave me $300k to play with it.
In the profit/loss ratio, for the time frame from April 01- April 30, I see a negative balance of $10k. If I select only the profit/loss ratio for this week, the negative balance does not exist because it has past two weeks since I lost the money.
For instance, it is like telling you to give me $100 and I'll give you $1000 (this is 10x leverage) In the case in the next hour goes on the street a yellow car (a random event) you keep $1,000 otherwise I keep your $100 but also I'll take from you the $1,000 (so you risk only $100 but the potential win is $1000)... if you lost I will write on a paper -$100 for your reference, this will be a negative balance. You see... there is no reason to tell you I don't want to play with you anymore, actually, I will give you all kinds of offers, and maybe you will play again with me.

You should work on increasing the capital first instead of making profit with $50. Also, timing when you choose to invest will also be important. Buy on dips.

BTC is better choice. It is number one coin based on market cap so go with it.

Add another 50$ and apply to the funding program. This industry is booming right now; you can try crypto trading without risking too much.
Google "funded engineer", they have a sweet promo now ;)

do spot trading , market already move on sideway arround 40% and hundred perced on bullish market, easy 90% drop on bear , i dunno why people still need to risk it playing future. since it's daily trading, you don't need to choose long term coin, better find one the is more volatile in movement

Nope, if you're just starting then you need to build your own strategy + backtest it.
But if you already have some base you can try funding programs. You don't lose much and have a chance to get funded if you don't screw up. Better RR imo.

aa that make sense, altough with workign strategy, and good portofolio you can just find some investor and ask profit sharing.
