Just wondering, but do any of you who buy and sell crypto use one of these tools on the net to help you view the prices and high/low, etc, to make decisions, or do you do the research entirely on your own?

in the crypto industry its only speculation/gambling. No analysis possible. If Bitcoins go up, the other coints too. If bitcoins go down the other cryptos too
Yeah, I 100% use TA to make my buying decisions for swing trading. Mainly pattern trading and a $500 paid indicator that works with trading view for confirmation. For crypto you can do fairly well just learning to trading w/ EMA crosses. Don't get too caught up in the patterns and use several indicators to confirm your trades. Most importantly don't listen to what others say, even if you think they're more knowledgeable than you because every trade should be your own individual decision based on what your gut tells you.
Just take a look at support and resistance levels - this will give you a good idea of when to buy and sell.
If your unfamiliar with this concept there is quite a lot of material about it - I'm sure there's some Youtube videos which explain this concept in further detail and describe how to plot these levels on your charting software.
if you think the future is blockchain then buy and hold long term.
when you get in the first time you can try and time it right - i dont think theres anything wrong with that.
i think there will be another big crash before the new year so you can wait for prices to come down before buying.
why i think that:
1. US elections (neither candidate is going to concede which is unprecedent)
2. UK leaves EU with no deal on 31st Dec
3. 2nd covid wave underway in europe, usa will follow in a few weeks.
remember, investors pull their money during times of uncertainty.
those 3 things i mentioned above are massive factors in creating uncertainty in markets.
