Crypto to zero?

Is crypto only successful because it's new and extremely hyped? How long before governments start banning it all over the world? If you can't regulate crypto and enforce law into the blockchain then how can it sustain as an everyday currency? Or will it just remain as a currency solely for digital services alone?

Some governments will try to block them, some will instead promote them. By now the phenomenon is so vast that I see it very difficult they will be able to stem it.
 
In my opinion: never, cause people still sell illegal stuff. Anonymity is something that CBDC is never able to offer. But, the market will shrink cause there are too many cryptos, the best and most popular ones will survive

I agree, only the 4/5 most popular will resist and the others will lose value once the hype passes.
 
The only way blockchains die is if the internet dies. I don't think that's happening without a major catastrophic event. In that case we have other problems to deal with. I see no way crypto is not the future of the internet.
 
since there will be for ever legal stuff and blackmarket in general, then the crypto will exist as well !
 
It is useless for 99% people. I will NEVER participate in any crypto-related stuff. And many people think this way. Too many scammers, you can't reverse a transaction, you have to wait like half an hour for a transaction, too expensive, and oh, you forgot your password ? You are just out of luck, buddy.

Now how some crypto shillers still want to believe this bullshit is the future, is beyond me.

You will use it without knowing.

Now you have to wait days for transfers between banks. It will be instant.
Now you have to pay the salary of the person that validates the inter-bank communications. It will be replaced by the blockchain transaction fee.
Now you have to wire transfer money to different countries. Many days and money wasted. It will be instant and cheaper.

You might not know why these services will get better. I'll tell you. Your services will use this tech. You will use the tech even if you like it or not.

TBH you sound like those who missed out on it and are a little salty :p
try to put your feelings aside and look at the tech, for instance I have partners in several countries and in the past few years ive been only paying them with crypto. Takes seconds, no banks involved, low fees, ultra-fast (almost instant) no complex forms etc...
Just one of the many uses of crypto.. so to say there are no uses is ignorant.
 
Never fight against trends and era. Crypto is the trend, those who dont understand will keep on reject them and hope them will goes to zero. But for those who understand it, congratulations you are already a millionaire or otw ot it.

Crypto does have it's share of problems, but saying it's completely useless without hearing to reason is akin to a child's tantrum

Edit: for the record, if the etf doesn't pass, BTC and all the crypto apes are going to get rekt super hard. So there is that too.
 
You guys use the word "asset" like you know the economy theory, yet have no idea how real economy works. Economy is running on new value added, not old value re-hashed and sold as dreams to poor people. Once all of this is over, many people will become homeless because of your shilling. Bye.

if you ask me crypto is the only thing in this world which i don't want government to have their hands on it, i want it free from government because government will cut huge taxes from every transaction and already we are paying good amount of tax on very transaction of crypto. getting in government hands will make it worse and then everyone will leave it dead.

Blockchain is the way to decentralize everything and split the money that the corrupts acquire to all the people.

So, Crypto coins are a medium to run a decentralized network. A decentralized network will bring new possibilities to the internet.
So no, I think crypto cannot be regulated. Crypto cannot be banned.
