I just got scammed via blockchain few hours ago.
I contacted blockchain and from the transaction explore page we were able to trace where the money went to, the address it went to. But we can't do anything further than that.

What happened was that I was sending money from one account to another, I copied the receiving account's wallet address. But according to blockchain customer rep, The account was changed through a copy-paste malware. That means the malware recognizes crypto wallet addresses and changes it to their specified addresses. This is very new to me and a very smart way to steal.
I wasn't happy about the loss, but I'm grateful that it wasn't big like that. It was just $35. The problem now is how did that malware get into my computer and how do I remove it?

Indeed. I saw someone else posting something similar on bhw a few days back. Seems like some malwares are now watching for erc20 addresses in your clipboard, and replacing the address with theirs. This is why it is important to have a secure machine before you do a transaction. Cracked software, cracked windows, disabling windows updates etc don't go well with security. Infact, get a mac or a Linux machine for these, and you will be a lot safer.

I think there was a thread on the forum which echoes very similar kind of issue the copy paste one.

Try with an AV or maybe malwarebytes can also help.
