Crypto or gambling?

Yolo'ing into random altcoins feels pretty much like a high-stakes casino, but digging into solid tech projects is more like a super volatile startup investment. Both can make you rich or broke, just with different narratives

crypto gives you more “control” at least, like you can hold, trade, wait it out… gambling is just straight house edge in most cases.

from biz side tho, gambling is more predictable, crypto is way more volatile. so yeah depends

at current market conditions clearly crypto as you have the exponational growth over the next years which casino won't have
I am sure that there is much greater retention and attention to the client here
I want to play gambling and still have my advantages

What do you think is the side of the media buyer and the side of the advertiser / beckend
?

@seodaddy nailed it — the virality factor in crypto is insane compared to gambling. seen a memecoin go from zero to 50k holders in 48 hours with basically just telegram + twitter hype and a well-timed KOL push. try doing that with an igaming platform lol

@satyr85 lmaooo cant even argue with that tbh. half the memecoins launching daily on pump.fun are literally just casino mechanics with extra steps. at least with actual gambling the house odds are transparent

the real play imo is that crypto marketing skills transfer to gambling way easier than the other way around. if u can build a degen community around a token launch, running a casino affiliate funnel feels like easy mode. but try taking a gambling media buyer and asking them to manage a telegram community of 10k degens — totally different skillset

from media buyer side, gambling is easier… funnels convert better, user intent is already there, scaling is faster. but, crypto can be relatively harder, more educating is needed and funnel leaks more.

from backend side, crypto can be better long term if u build trust, users stick longer vs gamblers who just churn after losses

Imo, Crypto is slower to convert. You need longer funnels, community building, and patience, but the payouts per user can be massive if you hit the right whales. It’s more volatile but can scale huge during bull markets.

This is so true that's why when it comes to crypto i opt to for longer investment with it.

It’s not exactly slow, but it’s harder to set up than a casino: you have to go through a lot of checks and get around blocks
+ Conversions happen quickly, but since larger sums are involved, customers need more time to think it over and tend to have more reservations

And you, brother, do you play both roles?
