The age-old question: cryptocurrency or gambling? We’re always joking and debating this with industry representatives at the conference.
If there are people here who have worked in both fields, please share your experiences: what pros and cons can you point out?

gambling is way more stable imo. people always gamble regardless of market conditions. crypto traffic dies when the market is down and explodes when its up. if you can time it right crypto prints but gambling is the steady paycheck

Crypto offers long-term growth but is volatile. Gambling provides quick highs but carries high risk and offers no real assets. Both need discipline and careful risk management.

Honestly, both work, just different games.

Crypto can bring bigger money per user, but it’s unstable and depends a lot on timing and market mood. When it works it’s great, when it dies it dies fast.
Gambling is more stable. Easier to convert, constant demand, but you need volume because payouts per user are smaller.

So basically crypto for upside, gambling for consistency. Most people run both. I prefer crypto/forex

From a traffic perspective, gambling is easier to optimize.

lol both are high risk. crypto's more like an investment vibe, gambling is quick thrills. depends on how long u can hold ur nerves haha. i'd mix both to keep it fun.

tbh it totally depends on your traffic source and budget.

gambling (igaming) is way easier to convert. it's impulse-driven. u throw up a flashy creative on fb or tiktok, someone deposits $20, u get your CPA. very fast cash flow. but the churn rate is insane and u deal with a lot of low-quality traffic.

crypto is a completely different beast. the conversion cycle is way longer, u need actual funnels to warm leads up, and ad networks ban u 10x faster. BUT... the payouts are massive. one good crypto whale on revshare can literally pay for your whole year.

tldr: gambling for fast daily ROI and quick scaling. crypto if u have the patience and budget to hunt whales.

Both are high-risk, high-reward, but I’d say gambling is more stable and predictable as a business. Crypto has bigger upside potential during bull runs, but it’s much more volatile and scam-heavy

oh from a marketing standpoint these r completely different animals tbh. crypto clients need heavy community building before launch — telegram, twitter, the whole thing — while gambling is more about funnels and paid acquisition from day one. worked with a crypto project where we spent 3 months just on community before any paid push, vs a gambling client where we had campaigns live week one what vertical r u coming from originally?

I disagree that it is difficult to get

a job, if you know how to apply good financial approaches, very good clients will stick around

at current market conditions clearly crypto as you have the exponational growth over the next years which casino won't have

From personal experience, gambling!

fair point actually — solid financial approach is underrated in both verticals. seen too many marketers chase volume instead of optimizing unit economics per acquisition. in crypto especially, the projects that allocate budget based on community growth metrics rather than just token launch hype tend to retain their agencies way longer. gambling is similar — operators who track LTV properly stick with their marketing partners for years. the real differentiator isn't the vertical, it's whether the client understands their own numbers.

Both and it's not easy to give a proper answer.

What you need to know is that some crypto projects can become super viral in just a few weeks or even days. So the potential is huge, very HUGE. Ive seen people cashing in hundreds of thousands of dollars in just a matter of a few days. And sometimes you don't need a crazy ad spend to make your campaign sucessful.

Gambling is good but is more a long term thing. You need to build trust around your platform, etc. And it's not cheap.
