Crypto Mixer

As many already know, one of the best ways to mix your BTC is Wasabi Wallet. I haven't seen a mixer for other coins, but I'd be interested to learn about similar services.

wasabi: you have to set up your own mixer now. there are a lot who got scamed. beware. i am using mixero.io and offmixer.io at the moment.

From a compliance analytics perspective using mixers doesn’t really make funds “untraceable” anymore. Most major exchanges and OTC desks flag funds that have passed through known mixers and in some cases they may freeze deposits or request additional verification.
In practice, the bigger issue isn’t anonymity but whether the wallet you receive funds from or send funds to carries AML risk. Many people run into problems when coins have exposure to scams, darknet markets, or sanctioned entities.
Because of that a lot of traders and P2P users now check wallet risk exposure before doing large transactions to avoid issues with exchanges later.
