I totally agree. You need a farm to make money from mining. You can't do it with a laptop.

You can use cloud solutions, some are shady but some others could worth the bet.
Using your laptop you need great GPU graphic card setup and also cheap power to do so and be profitable (eth).
For CPU only, monero is a possibility but the ROI is not often there.

I built Ethereum mining machine with 1080 TI graphic card and it worked. 3 month I made about $170. My electronic bill 3 month was much higher than this and it is so loud so I stopped it. Friend of mine built with 3080 Ti, 4 graphic cards, making about $1200 plus a month (last year). Back than 3080 was 2k per each, right now its $3600 per one 3080 graphic card its too expensive. I tried mine Ethereum with MSI gaming laptop too - It still mines Ethereum, but I don't recommends. My laptop went banana after 7 days.
