Hello,

I am new to crypto but did solid research before I set up this thread.

I would like to find out a few things.

  1. I would like to set up a desktop crypto wallet. I have already found a few desktop and a few mobile app wallets without KYC. (Atomic Wallet and Exodus) My question is whether they really don't require KYC? Or maybe they require KYC after you pass a certain fund amount?
  2. I found that it's easy to buy crypto with KYC, and I am ok with that. However, converting crypto to fiat, for example, euro currency, and payout might not be as easy as buying. The reason for that is the most of bank doesn't like crypto. Do you recommend any crypto-friendly banks, ideally in Europe? I found that revolut might do but question is whether I have fresh account and transfer for instance $5000 in crypto and want to payout this to my bank account, doesn't it seems suspicious for revolut ? I am not sure whether it's still the case, but I heard that Revolut likes to suspend accounts without obvious reason.
  3. What crypto exchange do you recommend? I found that Binance is the most popular, but it doesn't have a good Trustpilot score. I need something reliable. Ideally Europe-based.
I will be most grateful if you can help me.

I think all crypto exchange need kyc. And you need cold wallet, if u don't want to kyc.
And u may also need exchange offline.

1. Non-custodial wallets, Exodus for example don’t require any kind of KYC - no matter how much you’re holding on that wallet. They do offer built in options to swap & buy crypto which does require some form of verification.

2. Depending on which country you’re in you could use a number of different CEXs to off-ramp crypto > fiat. If Coinbase of Kraken are an option in your country I can personally suggest either one, withdrawal & trading fees are decently low.

3. See above.

Hi

Thank you so much for your help.

  1. I got your point, guys. I would like to have a wallet without KYC, where I can receive crypto and then swap for a different one and send it to another wallet. This is what I plan anyway. Can I do that without KYC with Exodus? I understand the fact that I have to do KYC if I buy crypto, but I would rather receive it, swap, and send.
  2. Can you recommend a crypto-friendly bank where I can pay out fiat from a crypto exchange such as Kraken?
  3. I am from Europe. Can you recommend something else, because I am not too sure about Binance due to its low score on Trustpilot? I got it that I have to do KYC for crypto exchange, and I am fine with it. I need one wallet without KYC; please see point 1, and another on a crypto exchange where I am happy to do KYC.
  4. Ok. So you recommend a cold wallet? Any specifics? Ledger, Trezor?

use exchanges like dustbin , anything can happen any time !

Why buy crypto on exchanges when you can do it on the stock market? In Europe, there are plenty of crypto ETNs. Open an account with a stock broker that has access to Euronext, and you'll avoid all the exchange headaches.

Appreciate your help. Can you recommend p2p exchange without KYC ? I do some research, but your advice is welcome.

Binance is still the best exchange for traders and investors. Don't do transactions with external wallets that you don't trust.

1. Exodus and Atomic Wallet are good for you. They don’t require verification for storage and transfers, but built-in swaps might.
2. For fiat withdrawals, check with your bank first—Revolut works for some, but others have had issues.
3. If Binance isn’t an option, Kraken and Bitstamp are solid European exchanges with good reputations. You could also consider WhiteBit.

Thank you so much for your feedback. But can you recommend something like P2P exchange, similar to localcoinswap, which allows exchanging crypto without KYC?

If it's not recommended to exchange crypto through P2P exchange, please let me know.

Ok. I will ask the other way.

Which one of them do you recommend?

-localbitcoins.com

-localcoinswap.com

-paxful.com

-p2p kucoin

-p2p okx

Do you think it's safe to P2P online and get paid online? I hope the platform works as an escrow service. If you think it's not safe to use P2P exchange and there are better option, please let me know.

Personally, i don’t recommend online P2P. I prefer CEXs, regarding no-kyc wallet, you can go for Trust wallet.

Thank you so much for your help. Last question. Can you tell me how I can buy crypto, a small amount of approximately $100 without KYC ?

All exchanges require KYC after certain limit. Not needed for physical wallets.

Great questions! For non-KYC wallets, Exodus and Atomic are both solid picks. If you're in Europe, N26 and Bunq seem to handle crypto better than Revolut lately. For exchanges, try Kraken or Bitstamp — both are reliable. And if you want to avoid KYC completely, check out Bisq or LocalCoinSwap. Just always double-check who you're dealing with.

just hit up LocalCoinSwap or Bisq, works pretty smooth
had friends flip small amounts regularly, never issues
