I have been using crowdfire but saw people on here using instafollow. I was curious to know if there is a way to set up some sort of macro on a phone or even online that can auto follow people every single hour that doesn't require jailbreaking my phone/unlocking it?

Nothing is safe, unless you make it safe. Use the delays wisely and you will be fine.
