I've set up a crowd funding campaign. It was inspired by my 6yr old son. He wants to give back to our community. We started off pretty strong in the first 2 weeks but since then the campaign has been slowly dying out. I've been trying to promote it as much as I can for at least 4 or 5 hours per day. It gets kinda draining when you don't get results. We need advice on promoting our project. I've created videos of us helping others. I just don't know what to do next and I don't want my son to feel like his program is a failure.

I would do things without any help if I could. His goal is to buy groceries for families as a act of Random Kindness. I know there's other ways to show kindness but this is the way he wants to do it. I don't have the money personally to fund his program...so that's the reason for the crowd funding campaign. We would like for this to be an ongoing process. We post videos of all our acts so that folks can see that the funds are truly being used for what they are intended for.

Again, we need advice on how to promote and keep this thing going. I can not post a link here due to the rules of the forum.

can anybody offer advice?

Promote it on social media, work place and use the web to get more idea.

Ask friends, friends friends to share, promote and talk about it as well.

On thing you must know is, if you are not the people's man (popular) you will really need to work hard to get noticed and trusted.

So far, you have created the right connection and exposures.

I've been active on twitter and youtube. I've even posted to craigslist. It's just not catching on like I'd like. I get about 400 views per day but I'm lucky to get a $5 donation some days. I had one guy donate $150 before.

I also created a fb group as well. Maybe there's something wrong with the way im presenting it.

Like i said, your offer, trust flow and marketing strategy matters.

There are lot of good products out there but they don't go anywhere because the creators doesn't have a damn clue on how to go about promoting it.

Still seeking solid advice

Try building momentum, appeal to the formula and have your campaign gain traction and get better listings.

All I can think of is the same as you, social media marketing and social power.....

One other thing you can do is pitch your campaign in a smart way to people with a lot of money so they'll recognize a genuinely "great" idea, business or non-profit that he/she may be personally into
