Yeh, according to my stats, it's now been 13 hours. I used to be with Hostgator, they NEVER went down for this long. Totally sucks, I'm losing money, and wondering if I should go for a dedicated server.

Going with dedicated server will increase your stats and you will have to manage it yourself or if you outsource it, you will have to pay an extra amount for that as well

I read on another forum they are being DDOS attacked and in return their datacenter has null routed all of their IPs.

    Hey AARS,

yeah, the site is down and the servers are under a DDOS attack, they are currently figuring out how to sort this out. The only thing you can do is wait :/

The site went well with Shared Hosting and because of downtime moving to Dedicated is a waste of resources. I'm added up with above comments; they are having DDos attack, and they announced on their FB and Twitter. It seems that their DC, Netelligent, is not much help according to their comments.

Everything between 24 and 72h will not impact your SERPs, but unfortunately if it's a longer period then it will affect them..

After that the only thing you can do is buy some fresh backlinks and content. I have had one of my sites down and it took a few backlinks and content to get it (partially) back. Take a look:
