Critique my SEO strategy

Hi there, I have an clothing ecommerce site which is based on affiliation. The traffic was growing pretty quickly at the start of the site. By month 3 I was achieving over 1000 organic sessions a day but since has been on a decline to 250-300 sessions a day. (that all happened without any link building)

My SEO strategy is to create high quality content with infographics for our blog page and then todo some outreach with some related blog sites to try and get some backlinks.

So my questions are:
1. Is this a good strategy?
2. If my outreach is going to link to the blog page with the infographic, how would that increase my ranking with certain pages on my site for other search terms. e.g. the category pages?

Depending on what they are doing and how much they are doing it you should build your strategy

Yeah, they pay other bloggers to write articles, reviews about products on their site, I've found a few sites that I can do this for but I have no idea how do I put a price on a link?

One blog will create a post of a wish list of products from my site for $100 which has DA - 28 and PA - 29, but then why would I pay that when I could get 5 blog posts on a PBN with the same authority for $40? Would the PBN not have a better effect as this is 5 pages linking instead of 1?

Its fine what I see here is you need to do a lot reading and understand a bit more now i see a blog i can tell you possible amount i would pay for guest posting there you will get idea and buying PBN links be careful with first try white hat if that doesnt workout then only i go for PBN and that too i build it all myself from scratch reputed hosting quality content original stuff

So if I got my infographics posted on other sites, will that just improve my domain as a whole or just the blog post page?

It helps most the page you are linking to also helps the domain and only infogrpahic is not enough..Have you thought web 2.0,Parasites, T1,T2?
