You know, I used to work from my bed, but then I realized I was watching more tv than working, so I changed my unused 2nd bedroom into an office, and that's when I started being able to concentrate a bit more at building my business. As my handle implies, I am a writer at heart, and that is how I started working online. I later jumped into linkbuilding and then full blown SEO, and - unfortunately - that's when I found out that being a writer doesn't pay the bills as well as the latter does unless you "know someone" and can get your foot in the door behind that someone.
Actually.. A really big problem I have is procrastination, like I said.
Maybe that's why I can never seem to get started on work till after I watch a TV show on netflix or read a blog post from something that interests me.
I don't really have anywhere to make an office currently, but to be honest, that would be really helpful for my productivity. It is what it is for now.
From a quick look the titles of the posts aren't keywords which is bad for SEO black hat or otherwise. You need keyword oriented titles to make sure you are going to rank for what is important. Your content is almost wasted with the titles you have now. Are those pages unique content if so do a over haul of changes to the names. Decent name but unless you are trying to rank for terms with the term page rank in them it is not a very good choice.
Well... I wasn't sure whether or not to go full SEO for the titles. I want engaging content, and I would rather sacrifice some SEO for a boosted user-experience.
Maybe I need to find the happy medium, because the posts where I do 100% optimization end up ranking way better, but I feel like that takes away from the value of the content to the actual readers. Hmm... Need to think on that one.
One other thought I had --> I'm thinking about opening up a JV to look for 1-2 partners who can help author and promote the site. Would probably require them to prove they have IM experience and that they make serious money online, but I just realized that if I can accomplish this much in ~4 months.. how much further would I be with a partner or two?
i didn't read what others said so excuse me if i repeat anything others said, in my opinion the text is too big and so it makes it harder to browse through your posts which you don't really have things categorized and the site is only 3 colors. Domain can be misleading because its called pagerankworld i would think i was going to find seo relevant info but there's alot of various IM based info so the domain doesn't exactly co-respond with what ur site is about.
either that or im just high.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaand this brings me to my final problem.
Originally I was going to make it into an SEO only site. But about a month ago I realized I was interested in the full-range of internet marketing, and I just couldn't sustain myself on purely SEO posts.
I'm hoping it doesn't become a larger problem in the future, that's something that really worries me. I'm hoping I can just build the brand up as the name of PageRankWorld.. rather than having to strictly abide by the SEO name.
