This is the only clip I could find, but between 1:00 - 2:13 is pure priceless... and utterly creepy. And I'm pretty sure the one guy who actually is using the computer was indeed told exactly what to say. His response is so incredibly cliche.

That was by far my favorite VICE episode. Anyone that hasn't seen it should certainly give it a go. Any other episodes you guys would recommend? I'm sick today, and feeling extremely unproductive.

Haha I didn't catch that nor do I have any idea what the hell is going on there. Just adds yet another level of creepy.

Yea, wtf...:questionm

Lol! That shit is even more creepy than anything, how the fuck? I mean - Windows doesn't allow 2 pointers, now does it? and they also move.
Unless it's some kind of a mod for Windows that makes the Dizzy mouse so slow, I really don't understand how he did it.
Both of them move.

They dont use Windows in NC. Meet http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Star_OS.
And their Google looks weird, with 2 large buttons one under another.
Probably failed to clone one CSS file to the local servers.

Its almost sad how people live their lifes in North Korea.. Im sure North Korea want to cut vices heads of

I wouldn't live that kind of life for a second. Death looks like paradise.

But again, when you have a family, you think otherwise.

You shouldn't be, mate. Most of them feel sorry for you. :-)

True, but still... The fact that they are so incredibly brainwashed since birth is quite sad. And for that, I feel sorry for them.

Yeah, at our side - we are a little bit brainwashed too and a lot of our history was changed just for us, but on their side - they are completely brainwashed, as of they do not have any access to different people's opinions.

Arrogant Americans will watch this video and say,

"So sad, they are so brainwashed."

When it's really not that much different over here. Sure, American life should not even be compared to what these people are subjected too. But still, there is a social engineering campaign running rampant in America as well. I believe, at least from what I've seen from American documentaries, that the people of North Korea are being subjected to some kind of cruel social experiment.

It's really bad over their.

For example they have something similar to this in which the people gather in celebration of their leader, Kim Jong or whatever. They all act like they're praising him and giving thanks for life, when in reality they are all acting. If they do not act happy in this celebration, they are either:

A. Killed
B. Taken to a labor camp

It's a messed up world we live in. Really if you take a step back and look at things it's messed up.

Think about the average American though. I remember some YouTube guy doing street polls on the beach asking the most basic of questions regarding politics, each and every single person was completely and utterly clueless. North Korean propaganda involves convincing the North Koreans that they are better than any race in the world (essentially racism). This in turn makes them feel obligated to work. They also put pictures of their "dear leader" all over North Korea, portraying him as a freedom fighter and as someone to be revered and looked up too. These posters are everywhere. And as a result the Koreans work for nothing.

In China they have suicide nets for IT workers. If they decide to jump off a building these nets will catch them.

American propaganda is a lot more intricate. And has been in swing for a long time. The entertainment industry is really one of our main forms of it. The celebrity lifestyle. North Korea even made a documentary about how America brainwashes its people daily.

The average teen, hell the average adult is more concerned with the NFL or what outfit Justin Bieber wore yesterday. It's all just a big curtain. And the people behind it are doing God knows what. Who knows if there's even a God who's benevolent, who knows if us Americans are even more free than these poor North Korean souls.

Just my 2 cents.

To end my little speech. There is an old story about a man who was born blind. His whole life he saw black, pure darkness. He went through life only with his other 4 senses. Touch, taste, hearing, and smell. 60 or 70 years of his life he went without seeing what this majestic world looks like, even one bit. Then one day, by some form of luck or magic. He was bestowed with the gift of sight. He saw what the world looked like, and what he had been missing for years upon years. He saw the trees and birds, the people and food. He saw himself, his children. He saw his car and his bed. Amazing right?

5 senses.

Try and imagine another sense. Try and imagine a 6th sense, or maybe even 100 more senses. Try to think, maybe to an alien race. Maybe we are just as enslaved and blinded as these North Koreans?

:).

I'm from America and I couldn't agree more with this. I'm subject to it. Yet fortunately aware of it going on. If there's one thing I am sure of, it's that the younger generations are becoming more susceptible to sex at younger ages. In other words, the general population is much sluttier than it used to be. I guess in the scheme of things, I don't mind this all that much since I am a guy, but the moment I have a daughter, I'm sure I will feel much differently.

LMAO at the title. That is so odd. Why even stage the computer scene. LOL.

In the grand scheme of things I believe it's probably for the better. Remember when we were just cavemen? Maybe we need direction in a forceful type of way. Without government and a system set up, anarchy would surely destroy our society. Humans are self-serving beings, 95% of us only care about benefiting ourselves.

Maybe be need a system like America to lead the people correctly. I mean we've come a long way you know.

Sex is natural, we are mammals. Wouldn't worry about that too much.

I think we need to be worrying about not where we stand with each other, but where we stand with the universe. With other beings, other forms of life. Whether or not you believe in life outside of Earth, it probably exists. And there will come a day in which we will have to face it. Maybe they'll want to hurt or help us, maybe they won't even care about us.

Either way, we need to keep progressing.

Did you see Obama playing soccer with a robot yesterday? Those robots will soon take the jobs of cashiers, of gas station workers, of house cleaners, of cooks in fast food restaurants, of cab drivers, and so on. I like the route we are headed.

So what about the people who will lose their jobs to robots? Given how unequal the current system is I assume they are going to be plunged into poverty right? What's to like about that?

If we go in that direction we will need a dramatic redistribution of wealth and to change how we think about finance.
