My paypal is dead forever now, I initially won the cases that were opened with it but then lost them when the buyer re-opened them with the bank, nevertheless, I still have the option to use a credit card processor, I'm not the one who owns it, it is owned by a shop that sells gift cards that I can redeem for cash, I can redirect my customers to buy gift cards from that shop with the processor, it has worked nicely so far, however, I don't want to cause a problem to the shop, I already got a taste about how terrible a chargeback is so I really wonder if it's a viable long-term option. I spoke with the shop about it and they told me that none has ever opened a chargeback against them with their credit card processor. This credit card processor is very reputable and it is owned by a large bank (JPMorgan), also it has top-notch security features, some of the best tbh.

My question is, can this prevent possible chargebacks? Paypal offers no security at all, no serious checks

Can a reputable cc processor change the chargeback situation? Maybe even stop a chargeback before it happens?

The shop is kinda "small", if it was an amazon like marketplace, I wouldn't ask but I believe they can get hurt by a well-timed chargeback so I'm trying to be responsible with them...

Nothing can prevent potential chargeback, but cards will reduce friendly scam rate. To do real chargeback you need to go to real bank and fill papers.
People learned that with PayPal it's freaking easy. According to chargeback, even Stripe is better, it prevented few payments from stolen cards before the client paid.

paypal is not a bank, they can do whatever they want with limited regulation

it's scary really.
I heard a lot of genuine seller on reddit lost all their money because paypal decided it looks "fraudulent"

I recommend using stripe, their system is amazing, and you can even pay a little extra to get proper chargeback protection with comprehensive data.
But if you decide not to take that extra service you still get great chargeback protection. Try it.
