Now that many people will have switched over for a few months, what is the final verdict? What has your experience been?

There's reports that engagement dropped after and it took a while to recover. What if you switched back? Please share your stories.

Personally I only use a creator account so I can add swipe up links to my stories. Never felt a difference to engagement.
For me I prefer creator account as you can hide your contact/location details from under your bio, which is mandatory on business accounts.

Did you switch from business to creator? Or from personal?

my engagement dropped a bit. and the major difference I noticed was the "hashtag" and "others eyeballs". When I checked my insights, I see fewer views from "hashtag" compared to "others" e.g. hashtag - 400, others - 10,000. I tried it for two weeks and when I switched back to business, the views from "hashtag" increased and the "others" dropped e.g. hashtag - 10,000, others - 2,000. I can upload screenshots later.

Interesting, what does other mean? I thought that's from web or direct url link? It's better to get hashtag right? So that you can rank on it

I had a small engagement drop in the first days, but after that it increased with about 30%. The most useful feature so far is the scheduling posts.

I'm in a FB group with thousands of Influencers and everyone came to the conclusion that creator is worst than business profile, so maybe if you are growing an account the best thing to do is keeping it as a personal account.

What's the main reason they say? I have a business account now not personal though.

Huge difference in reach compared to previous posts, then everyone switched back to a business profile and they reach came back to normal. Maybe it was a bug or something and it will be different in the future, but that was the conclusion hundreds if not thousands of influencers reached a month or two ago after testing both types of profiles.
