I'm posting here some creative Ideas to get some money for guys who are starting working with Internet marketing and affairs.. just to say: Think outside the box! You need to be creative!

For starters: remember to change your mindset first (read Think and grow rich from Napoleon Hill):

Think positive! You need to make money because you don't have money atm, right?!
Always ask these questions: how can I make legit money? How can I add so much value in life of people to make legit money? How can I solve problems in creative and unique ways to make money? People pay for your unique and expert skills! Think outside the box!

    • Here some good Ideas to make some money from Craiglist:
Basically you buy, fix and then flip furnitures (buy low and sell high always worked for me :)). https://www.etsy.com/ this is good to sell creative items!
If you are into real estate and have a good amount of money you should buy broken houses, fix and flip them, but this is an high investment risk, better to start small ;)

    • Another great thread here about buying in bulk/craiglist and sell:

    • On facebook groups or Craiglist you can find sometimes people who are giving for free fornitures/items (or a broken one), if you need money, right, you take the free gift from the good guy and you resell the forniture! You'll spend money only for Gas (and/or for fixing item) if you need to pickup the item in a far away city from yours.

    • Another Idea that came to my mind is always check Istructables.com if you like DIY (do it yourself) like this genius and creative item:
Think outside the box, seek for some good Ideas on Istructable, make your own Item and resell as a creative one! You can go on https://www.etsy.com/ and sell your hand made/creative item!
(In future you could open your own DIY business/eCommerce? is this another idea?!)

    • [*=1]Finally if you like the digital way too, you should learn how to code (check free online courses at the end of thread, also an ex-hedge funder tell you here why is good to learn to code: http://mikaelsyding.com/learn-code-change-resistant-prepare-automated/) or learn Copywriting (search on Google for CopyBlogger and CopyHour) then go to Odesk/Elance and sell your skills as a Freelance! How to beat competitors? You should start with low prices (usually) but always give quality jobs to clients as a Freelance! Quality in a digital job is the best thing to offer as a Freelance!

    • [*=2]Or you can Learn how to fix watches with youtube Video Tutorials? Or fix Smartphones (buy, fix and flip)? fix and flip cars? anything? Always learn new skills that are good for the market! In this way you'll learn how to Sell which is a very important skill to have.

    • [*=2]You can recover gold in old electronics (your own electronics or check for people in craiglist if they give an old tech item for free), there are some ways to recover it, just use Google and Youtube for video tutorials:

    http://hackaday.com/2013/11/18/salvaging-gold-from-old-electronics/

    • [*=3]You can learn various topics for free with these websites (ex. coding), then you can market your skills on the internet (sell skills as freelance or with your blog):

-https://www.udemy.com/ (you can get free coupons here on bhw if you search for some)

    - https://www.edx.org/ (for some dollars if I remember, you can get an official certificate where it shows you've studied in a good College ex. a Computer science online course of Standford)

Work Hard, get some starting money then you can start working hard again on your niche project (you need money to buy domains, hosting, tools etc), become an expert in your niche field (think always long term) and you'll make money thanks to the internet (it can take up some years, it's a business).

Are you asking now: What should I do? Just pick one thing, make a commitent, study it, get creative, but please Take Action now! That's it, thanks for reading! :)

Fix watches and fix cellphones is an oldest model to make money, in these days we threw watches in dustbin when they are not working.

Thank you for these ideas. A decisive factor to make money online is to put effort to it, many people think when starting internet marketing it is going to be very easy and it won't require a lot of work, they're wrong and fail.

I started learning recently about this whole internet marketing thing and all I can say is that there is a opportunity for everyone, you just have to think creatively and outside the box, like you said.

That's right, work hard (you need to put effort, working hard means 8-10 hours per day after your first job) and think outside the box.

i personally would never write for others
if you can write decently then theres no reason to give away your articles instead of sticking it on your sites
then boom drive traffic to it and make sales

in the beginning i want to earn affiliate commissions
then as i learn and grow, i want to be a vendor, learn optimisation, paid advertising and scaling my business
    freelancing is imitating employment
i also want to learn serverside languages and programming as i believe having eproducts and a SaaS in the future will be very
    beneficial
i wil also want to have physical products, and may start on amazon, ebay and other large marketplaces, then on my own ecommerce sites
but first i've got to break-even, make a profit and learn a lot more
