Creating youtube boxing channel?

Yeah you will get a copyright strike even if you follow the fair usage policy maybe you can try like adding lots of your content like slides and keep other's videos under 40% then you can be on safer side but that also a myth.

Most people don't realize that "fair use" is just something that gets thrown around the YT circles. If I own the audio or visual content and you use 1 second of it, I can take down your whole video.

The usual process is the following: you upload a video, it gets hit by ContentID, you decide to file a dispute, the dispute goes to the owner of the material, they have 30 days to decide yay or nay. If they say "nay this is mine and I'm not giving it to you", it's game over. You can cite fair use, but unless you are willing to take them to court, there is nothing you can do about it. You cannot complain to YT, they are intentionally keeping their distance.

So often you can see people using a little boiler plate snippet of fair use in their description thinking this is perfectly fine. The reality is that the owners of the materials are usually big corporations that a) don't read video descriptions and b) don't really care of what YOU think is fair use.

Unless you have the resources to take someone to court or are backed up by a MCN that is willing to do it, fair use is pretty much pointless. If you are using someone else's material, they can take down your videos with a click.

This is not honest... I have seen so much boxing channels, and they are still there .. and earning some money of that ... how, why not adsense ban them?

Some of them are making, im sure. Motivedia upload maybe 5-10 videos in month, use non copyright music, and resize the video because of the logo..

Back to my original question, how do you know they are making money?

If you are solely judging by "they have ads" on their videos, I have to remind you that a) YT display ads on non-monetized videos and b) they could be monetized by the copyright owner.

If you post a video and have no desire to monetize it yourself, owners allow the content because THEY can make money.

Razbiram, prosto mi beshe chydno kak tochno tozi kanal ne e bannat. Fakta, che polzva non copyright muzika govori, che monetizira videata, inache moje da si polzva vsqkakva muzika bez da monetizira i da nqma problem...

I saw this channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClFbb1ouXVZzjMB9Yha5nAQ which use copyright cotent but use maybe their own music in every one video. Repeat, repeat ... What you think about this? Is this channel get any $ of this?

I stopped use this method at the end of 2015. Like everyone said, you will get banned pretty fast when the owner reports you. What I do is just upload and schedule it about 27 or 30 videos for two weeks (without the permission from the owner) on my new channel. The channel is about Japanese comedy show, and for 3 months I got $600 and 1,3K subs. I only made one mistake. I never check the channel because I'm busy with my work. But I do not care because this is just a test.

My tips:
1. If you are planning for the long term in YT, create your own content.
2. People took a time and cost to created their content, so stop stealing .
3. If you still want to steal it , at least be smart. Upload and make it private or delete the video. Don't be greedy.

FYI* I'm not uploading a video to YT anymore.

Actually there are a lot of YT channels monetized Like this. Maybe are parents of YT staff??
