Hello, I hope that someone can help. I am in need of many private proxies from locations all over the USA.

I am looking into buying a dedicated server and installing some sort of proxy software.

    But my question is this:

Will I be able to use IPs from all over the country if my webhost is based in say, Chicago?

    Any help is appreciated.

no your IPs will only be chicago and you should ask your host if proxies are allowed, they often disallow them.

squid is really good but you need to know how to set it up properly. your best bet is to just purchase proxies as it will be much easier for you. how many proxies do you actually need and the locations?
