Creating Your Own Private Blog Network - A Basic Overview

Hi, Thanks for this excellent guide. Mind me for asking this stupid question, what is;

DA (OSE) - 20
PA (OSE) - 30
CF (Maj) - 15
TF (Maj) - 15

The minimum domain metrics he is looking for:

20+ domain authority and 30+ page authority (from Moz)
15+ citation and trust flow (from Majestic SEO)

If have somewhat higher requirements but he is right in that any domain over these minimums is likely to be strong and good to use as part of a PBN.

Really thanks a lot for this thread Tom

I don't speak those languages as well, but i am less afraid of language then technical side (register country tld, get good local hosts). For example, as far as i know, .de domains are harder to register then .com if you are not a resident and they are also more expensive.

Yes this is the same in my country, Ireland, you have to have a business name set up before you can get a ".ie" TLD

Hi,

currently I got ~20 domains, installed wordpress on all of them and I am uploading a bunch of 100% original articles to them. I plan to post a backlink every ~5-10 articles.
Since my domains are .de there is no privacy protection. I gave the registrar my real details so all of the domains can be traced back to me.
What are the chances that this will harm me?

None, people think they can hide there info with privacy protection from Google, but Google is a register themselves and they can see your info, protected or not. If you really want to be private you need to create multiple accounts with registers and use fake name info.

Hi,

I was wondering if penalized site which is still indexed is good for private blog network?

I've discovered some spammed to death sites with great PA and DA in the competitive niches with a good diversification. But I'm 100% sure it's penalized. Do you guys think I should get such domains?

Also, what about age? how important is age of domains in blog network nowadays? From blog post providers here on BHW I got great results from 1 month old blogs so I guess age isn't that important?

I try to rank an authority site in a low competition niche with many of small sub-niches. I'm having a category for every sub-niche and I try to rank this category page for all the sub-niche keywords. Do you think I can use private blog network for this site too? I plan to make backlinks for those category pages but won't it be weird to have same domains linking to every single category page? what would you guys do with private blog network of 30 blogs and let's say 20 sub-niches? (you might think 20 sub niche is very unusual but well this niche is very specific too and there are even more small but very profitable ones :D )

One more question :)
Do we build additional links to the domains? posts? other inner pages?

it doesn't matter if those domains was penalized or not as long as it is indexed. we need them to build links and only links.

age is nothing. if you can get links from solid backlink profile domain, take it without think twice.

why would you want to rank category page? pick one page/post from that category, optimize, backlink and monetize it. and it's natural for having backlinks for every page on your website.

build links and pages for your link network is not necessary

at least with whois protection you save your network from competitor. and NO, i won't recommend you to fake name info, it just break rules.

also easy cash to sell back links on these sites for a few bucks each

I wouldn't touch a site that's been spammed with a barge pole, I'm after domains that haven't had an SEO touch them.

Yes there are some crazy domains with great metrics, but for me, I'm after 0 risk domains. Someone's blog that they never intentionally built a link to, that sort of thing!

Age is important, but don't get too hung up on it. I typically look for 3 years+.

It's completely up to you how you link! I typically have one link on a PBN site for each of my money sites then that's it!

However, I've seen competitors have 5 page PBN sites and on that site they link to only two sites and they're still ranking, so it's up to you.

If I were you, in a post link to your category page and say another category page in each article using the optimum keywords as anchors.

If you're interlinking all of your posts and creating silos of content (each sub category post interlinks with all the other posts in it's category) then you should be fine.

Just use a little common sense and keep everything looking really natural.

I don't ever build links to my PBN, you don't need to risk it.

Web 2.0 blogs require work, you will need to build backlinks to your posts, otherwise they won't pass a lot linkjuice to you money site..

Some web 2.0 blogsites have a high DA, although this won't help you that much, as long you PA is 0.

Cool shit ! Can't we create our private network using web 2.0 s ???

Yeah of course, with this method you're just buying instant authority.

With Web 2.0s this is something you would need to build up over time.

Great for Newbies. But still have worries to build private network.

I've got one more question please.

I have a bunch of domains for different projects of mine which failed, have have some strong links on it but all of them have open whois info and my name there.. If I change this whois info to some other random fake names/info will those domains be good to be used in private blog network?

.................

Yes...on my PBN I don't use private whois just fake names.

As long as they have different C class IPs you should be good to go.
