Creating Web 2's

I created a blogspot page and a sites.google page about 6 weeks ago. I have them both on gsc. They are still not indexed, is this normal? Being google properties I would have thought they would be indexed by now.
I have been sending links to these properties. But now wondering if I should wait for them to get indexed.
