Im working on a white hat site, and want to ensure I have lots of unique content which I will update on a regular basis.
The site has a a dozen or so pages, and I have identified the relevant keywords for each page.
My plan is to create a blog on the main site, (www.mysite.com/blog). In my blog I create the unique content.
What I'm slightly unsure of is how to use this unique content so that it has a positive effect on my site's main pages.
For example, should I simply create a link on each page pointing to my blog, or should I be somehow duplicating relevant content from my blog and paste it onto each page.
My plan currently is to use the 12 keywords I have identified (1 for each page) and create a category for each keyword in my blog. Then on each page provide a link to the blog/category.
I geuss simply put my question is "does google class fresh unique content as content on your site, or content on the specific page".
Id really appreciate if someone could confirm if I'm totally barking up the wrong tree.
