I created my own crypto currency and listed it on pancake swap and put some liquidity in to it.

How am I going to profit from having my own coin for example if I advertise it and people start trading it... where do I get paid?

Where do I count how much money I have made. (earnings)

Any other recommendations for making money with starting own cryptocurrency? I heard in another thread I should list it on coinmarketcap for good results

thanks

You get paid by selling the coins since you're providing liquidity on a DEX

Where would the payment come to exactly, how do I get paid or how do I check my daily earnings if I have it listed on pancake swap.

people buy your coin -> price goes up -> you profit when you sell the token and swap into another token or cash it out on your preferred marketplace.
odd youre smart enough to create your own token but don't know how to take profit.
two popular places people take out USD profits (assuming this is your home country currency) are coinbase and binance.

These are questions and info you should have researched before creating a currency. If you have no vision for the coin you are basically just scamming. You hold the coin and when people buy , your coins will go up in profit depending how many you hold etc

did you pay someone to create a token for you? this thread is like a mechanic asking how do you pump up a tire, how much psi. something doesnt sound right.
how to track profit of a coin? what was the price yesterday, was it more or less than it is today. every dex will show you the percentage change on a chart in any time interval you want.

I followed some guides on YouTube and it was very simple to create a coin and put it on pancake swap.

my question is how do I make profit from this coin that I created? Do I buy my own coin then sell it later if it becomes popular?

How much did you invest in this venture without doing research and due diligence, outta interest?

So you made a new cryptocurrency without understanding how anything works?
I wonder why there are called shitcoins.

And for your question, you should have some coins from those you initially made available. Whenever one person is buying a coin, it means that someone else is selling it. If you want to make money out of it, be the one selling it.

You only make money by getting your token listed on exchanges
Without utility, its a shitcoin

think why does anyone want to invest in your token?
there's tens of thousands of tokens out there with zero utility. just something some random person made. with no form or function. do people buy those things? what makes people buy the ones they do?
research what causes price of bitcoin (or any token) to go up and down. you can probably research a lot more things in this space to get through education.
good luck with the token.

Let me know if you list coins on Pancakeswap , I will buy some coins to invest

I assume OP is still planning on doing this and wrote it as if he'd already done it?

Can't just start a project without any planning like that

This is not necessarily true. Sure, it's likely to fail, but a failed project due to lack of vision and intentionally scamming are not mutually exclusive. They are two very different things.

@topoftheappst0re I really don't feel like deep-diving into this topic, as there's just too much information to reply to your question and I don't have the time to go through it all. However, there are a virtually unlimited amount of ways your coin / token can be monetized. The most simple is to put your money where your mouth is. Buy a bag or two of your own tokens. As you gain more investors, the value of your personal bag(s) will increase. Don't be some crazy ass whale (try to hold less than 5%), as you will otherwise scare people off, since they know you can dump at any moment.

Another way, is to have a small percentage of each transaction (say 1 or 2%) go into your developer wallet. This isn't ideal for your personal money, but it will help you for things you may need (ie: your web hosting expenses, hiring 3rd party developers to help you out if needed, etc). Another thig you may want to have, is a marketing wallet, with small percentages of transactions going into it, as well.

Note: If you have 1% going into your Dev Wallet and 2% going into your Marketing Wallet, that's already 3% that all your users will be taxed upon each transaction, so be careful with not making these numbers get too high. Also, lock your liquidity and make sure there are no loopholes in your smart contract. Give people a peace of mind.

There is lot involved then just creating coin. You have to get initial users who will come only if project is trusted by people.
