A few months ago, my main Reddit account got banned over something stupid I said. The appeal I made was denied.

If I wanted to create a new Reddit main for personal use, what would I have to do to avoid another ban?

I was thinking of creating the new account out of my usual state, on a vpn, with a different email address, and warming it up roughly along the lines of what I’ve seen on BHW thus far.

I’ve also seen a lot about using rotating proxies, aged accounts, and a bunch of other stuff.

I’m not sure if that would apply to me since I’m not using it for marketing, however I’m also not sure since this would be my main account. My main problem is that I mainly use Reddit on mobile, which means that my old account is likely tied to my SIM card and my cellular data

Is there anything I should do or should I give up? Thanks.

Using a VPN, a new email, and warming up the account with normal activity is a good start. To avoid linking to your old account, reset your phone's advertising ID and clear Reddit app data or use a fresh install. If you suspect your SIM or mobile data might cause issues, consider using a different device or tethering through a new mobile hotspot. Consistent, organic activity should help avoid suspicion!

Thank you!

Regarding the VPN, the only one I have is Nord, which I’m not sure is sufficient, and I’m concerned that any slip might ping their detectors.

Since I’m broke, I can’t exactly buy a new device, but I’ll look into the tethering.

One other thing is that I’m concerned that my posting habits which may have carried over might raise suspicion. Nothing crazy, just a few niche things that I’m concerned might tie me back.

For your mobile, try Cloner or a similar app. LOOK AT THE REVIEWS on them

Mullvad is supposedly a great VPN. or try the free one from protonmail

Join new subreddits to alter your pattern

Get a domain name and use a domain email account

Install more fonts to change your default install

Install other programs to change your default install

Sincerely,

The Eye

Would you say that Nord is insufficient? Likewise with the domain email.

I’m not sure what you mean by default install, but I’ll look into it.

You can create 2-3 accounts from the same phone easily without any bans. You don't even need a proxy. Just create a new account from your Reddit app. I've 3 accounts running in my app and no bans because phones create the most organic and natural fingerprints.
