Creating Gmails on Mobile Phone No Longer Working???

I've always been able to create 2 Gmails day on each phone without needing to verify a phone number etc. This week though I keep running into issues with verification required. Even testing on BRAND NEW FRESH ANDROID PHONES, every time I try to create a Gmail it either asks for a phone number or to scan for a sim card to confirm the device.

Is this just me or is this happening for everyone?

btw I know I can rent sms and all that, but I'd just prefer not to since I need to make custom Gmails that have no chance of locking etc.

It’s not just you Google has tightened their account-creation checks recently. Even fresh devices and clean IPs are getting phone/SIM verification prompts now, so the old “2 per day” method isn’t as consistent anymore.

A couple legit things that can help reduce false flags:

• Use a clean, stable connection (no VPN/proxy history).
• Make sure the phone is fully updated and not logged into any old Google accounts.
• A full factory reset before creating an account can sometimes help give the device a clean profile.
• If Google still insists on verification, using a real phone number is pretty much the only stable option now, since they’re phasing out no-verification signups altogether

Seems like everyone’s seeing the same tighter checks lately.
