Creating Event from Group - Only 50 people being invited?

New issue that's come up today.

I've created a group with 4800 people in it - and created an event from that.

Only 50 invites from the group have gone through though

any ideas why this is?

are you using the fbml cde as i think there is isues with it now , i am having same prob and mine was created from a profile

nope no codes used - just a regular event setup from a legit group

i get this too. its happening everywhere.

Iv narrowed it down to groups over 4000 last few days.

if you group is bigger than 4000 facebook fucks up and only invites the first 50 then gets stuck.

it could be doing it to groups with less people now. ex groups over 3000 etc.

its annoying

maybe all the recent event spam is choking the invite queue. i know facebook invites 50 at a time. it looks like its crashing after the first chunk

It invites 50 per time, so, if you have for example 5000 friends,you must invite 100times to see all friend invited

No, it just invites gradually.. When a part of these 50 rsvp's it will keep inviting more til the entire number is reached. Just give it some time

has bee=en messing up on me all day ,will leave it overnight an see if it invites all 5000

is it messing up for page and group invites too ?

i invited from a 5000 list and left overnight , and only 50 were selected


the page and group invite are working a bit ( not sure yet ) but very very slow

Umh, they still continue to limit this , now is 20 guests invited and not advancing no matter how many times you press the "Invite members of host group" option...

Any workable solution?
